2010 is already here and I can't believe Women at the Table was published a year ago. It is still garnering attention and I have many speaking engaements coming up. I must admit I am enjoying meeting as many people as I am.

I'm also working on my next book which I hope will be completed by the end of January. Since it is about New Hampshire's female majority senate, I'm hoping it's published before the next election.

I'm still trying to find a connection or contact who will help me obtain a meeting with first lady Michelle Obama in order to make a presentation of Women at the Table to her. Several of the women participants in the book will accompany me. My contact didn't work out so if you know of anyone I'd truly appreciate the help.

I am in the midest of publishing a series of books specifically for 12-17 year olds. I am worried about the next generation of writers and I want to encourage young writers. If you know of a 12-17 year old who likes to write, email me and I'll send them guidelines. The first book in the series is now ready for sale (see book section for more information) and I hope you all enjoy this first publication.

Life sometimes just has a way of happening and while I was preparing The Town in the Bubble and Other Stories for the printer, I was asked to publish a series of books written by women for women. I am now accepting submissions for Women's Words....Short Stories for Women by Women. Please feel free to submit a story.

Please check my event calendar for all my upcoming events. Hopefully I'll see you at one or two of them. Several of my upcoming events have Representatives and Senators at them. Bring your books and get several autographs at the same time.

If you have any comments about my books or web site, please email  me. I would love to hear from you.

Welcome
